STRIKE

Well, it was a long commute to work today (about 3 hours or so). To my surprise the transit workers have actually decided strike. You can read a short description of the reasons here. The MTA really bumped their offer to no avail.

The lines everywhere were long. Moods were angry/frustrated. I have a better plan of attack for tomorrow.

At this point I have no idea how long this is going to last, but I'm glad to get the heck out of Dodge tomorrow.

This is what unions do. This is illegal, and everyone of them should be fired. Reagan would fire all of them, and replace them. It does not take a lot of training for any of their jobs. How ridiculous is trying to get a pension at 50 for 20 years of work. I am trying to get a job working with a Right to Work organization this summer if any of you guys know any good ones in Ohio let me know.

Fred Barnes said he could drive a bus last night. I just can't get over the demands of the union, these guys have it made as far as many New Yorkers would be concerned.
